In celebration of JR's arrival to London The Outsiders are giving away ten free tickets to the UK Premiere of Inside Out. The special screening will take place next Tuesday at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square, followed by an intimate Q&A with director Alastair Siddons and artist JR. The deadline for the competition is midnight on Sunday 6th October, with winners announced bright and early Monday morning.
Inside Out, The People's Art Project is a fascinating documentary tracking the evolution of the biggest participatory art project in the world, traveling the globe with JR as he motivates entire communities to define their most important causes with incredibly passionate displays of giant black and white portraits pasted in the street.
Alongside the screening JR's famous photobooth truck will be in situ at Somerset House River Terrace this weekend, from 1-7pm each day, with more dates to follow. Huge thanks to the East Wing Biennial at The Courthauld Institute for their collaboration on this project. The resulting images will be pasted up in various locations, including on Somerset House Terrace itself and at Land Securities' New Ludgate development on the fringes of the City of London, adjacent to St Paul's Cathedral.
Keep your eyes peeled and get involved in the largest participatory art project in the world!
