Cherrystones Word Compilation
Well here it is, a new playlist from Cherrystones. Sixteen tracks from the outer orbit of music. Look out for Cherrystones' Mentazm nights with Barry 7 (Add N to X), B music DJ's and so much more. Enjoy.Bring Me The Head Of Rock And Roll - Cherrystones

Every now and then you buy a record blind and it proves you right, and restores your faith in music; Cherrystones did just that. It's quite simply the best compilation I've heard in a long time, but it takes time and a little patience.
So who is Cherrystones? In short, he is a DJ. But a DJ bigger than Elvis and freakier than the rest, and has been soundtracking the sound of young England today for the psychedelic youth of our nation. Having been personally asked to DJ for the Slint reunion show and having Six Organs of Admittance record label on the look out for his next compilation and worked his way through the Andy Votel’s B-Music Collective and Morricone nights out at the ICA, been on remixing duties for Pedro, Grand Central, Twisted Nerve and releasing semi-legendary psychedelic comps ‘Cherrystones’ Rocks’ and ‘Hidden Charms’ on David Holmes ‘13 Amp’ label. Or selling CDRs of his now legendary (and what is playing for you right now) street-freak-mix which has taken him from NYC to LA, from being the soundtrack to the last Pete Doherty/Carl Barat Libertines shows to DJing the final freak-out at All Tomorrow's Parties and Green Man Festival.
Look out for an upcoming specially comissioned Cherrystones mixtape for the Lazinc music player. And if you haven't heard "Rocks" then we'll post up a sampler for those who need to taste the freaky funk from Cherrystone own brand of pyschedelia.
Cherrystones debut EP on Poptones is out soon; don't worry we'll keep you posted.
Stench Show Launch Night
Thanks to all those that came to the launch night (27th July). Despite the fact there was an initial scare of a black out the lights stayed on and people came. We were even graced with the presence of a suitably impressed Mr Jamie T.
If you missed last Thursday then the show’s up till late September, so there’s still time to check out the show's first hanging before it's all changed. A lot of the show's already sold so it won’t be long before the paintings are off to happy new homes.

Those that braved the thursday night rain were treated to some very special art and enough booze to sink a battle ship. Thanks to Tiger, Vladivar, Redbull and Cobra for their help .... here's to next time.
