The Mending Broken Hearts Appeal is one of the most important fundraising efforts ever undertaken by the British Heart Foundation. Its goal is simple; to raise £50 million to fund the cutting-edge cardiac-regenerative research that could literally ‘mend the broken hearts’ of millions.

Antony Micallef, Sir Peter Blake, Maggi Hambling, Gavin Turk, Jonathan Yeo, and Gary Hume are amongst the group of artists using their vision to campaign for the Appeal. The artists have been given completely free-rein in what they create, as long as it is inspired by 'mending broken hearts'; the result is a collection of artwork that while based on a shared concept reflects the diversity and personal style of each of the artists involved. These artworks will be auctioned at a gala evening in the Dorchester Hotel on 14th April in association with Christie's Auction House. Check out Stanley Donwood's show 'Red Maze' at the Schunck museum in Heerlen, Holland.

The show is based on the myth of the Minotour and the labyrinth, Donwood has turned the cellar at Schunck into a maze or rooms and hallways. 'Red Maze' represents the disorder and confusion of the human mind. "There appears to be no logical reason or order inside, but in fact the construction and the embellishments are all carefully considered and do make the perfect sense... if only to their creator" says Donwood.

One of the more ambitious shows we've ever been involved in, painted live elephants notwithstanding, is now open to one and all. The Faile Bast Deluxx Fluxx Arcade does exactly what it says on the neon-labeled tin - ten fully functioning Arcade Machines and two Foosball tables painted, pasted and completely reprogrammed by the artists into exciting interactive audio-visual sculptures. That you can drive and blow up. Tokens and T shirts designed by Faile and BAST can be bought on site, but for anyone who genuinely can't make it down to experience the Arcade itself over the next six weeks, take a look at this film, featuring commentary by the artists themselves, no less.
