Lazarides is delighted to announce its exhibition programme for an exclusive 4-month period in Los Angeles. Launching in April, Lazarides will host 4 unique exhibitions in a secret 8,000 square foot venue in Beverly Hills.
To kick it off, David Choe is returning to his hometown after a six-year absence with Nothing to Declare (23rd April-30th May). The extremely prolific Choe has been hard at work creating new paintings, drawings and sculptures for the 8,000 sq ft space in Beverly Hills.
Inspired by his own experiences - good and bad - Choe weaves these encounters into his work, projecting a dramatic and fantastical, often sexually explicit, vision of the world.
From the artist who first exhibited in an ice-cream parlor, expect no less than a sensory melting pot of life seen through his eyes.
For more information please read the press release.
'Nothing to Declare' will run from 23rd April - 23rd May 2010, open everyday 12 - 8 pm.
